Terrible grainy photos taken inside! Outdoor not too bad...
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

So disappointed with this camera! My cheap £60 camera was ten times better when it came to quality! Unfortunately I lost it which is why I decided to upgrade to this.Indoor, the photos come out grainy and the detail is very poor. Outside takes fairly decent photos.I’d avoid if I had my time again!

Fantastic, compact camera that does everything I need
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

Fantastic, compact camera that does everything I need, and more. The only unwanted surprise was that my new camera did not come with an SD card, so I could not use the camera until I had been to the shops.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-SZ10 Review
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

Picking up blogging again it became clear that for some days  out and about, I would need an alternative to the camera on my phone, especially when it came to zooming in, which even the iPhone does poorly. It was time to pick up a dedicated camera again.I didn't think I was in the market for a DSLR, I certainly didn't want to spend that kind of money at the moment anyway, so went hunting around for good compacts.I identified a Panasonic compact camera that had a rather nifty feature I liked the look of. The fact the you could turn the view screw 180 degrees around, and see the screen as you took a selfie of yourself. Yes, I know, how vain. As I would probably be going out and about on my own to some things, I thought it was a nice feature. I was also intrigued by the ability to wireless control the camera with my phone. Probably not a massive groundbreaking feature, but new to me.That particular model was quite expensive, but what I did find was the similar looking DMC-SZ10, which packed all the same features I liked. I'm not a massive cameraphile so despite the less than Stella reviews on Amazon, averaging it at 3/5 I decided to take the hit.As people on the Amazon reviews had mentioned, for whatever reason, this model does not come with an English instruction manual. The camera has been sold in the UK, but I guess this particular batch of stock was not intended for the UK market. Either way, in this day and age it's not exactly difficult to find a manual in English in digital form, Panasonic's website is as good as you expect it to be from an A* tech company. If you've stumbled upon this page looking for the manual, it can be found HERE.It's worth noting the DMC-SZ10 packs a 16megapixel still resolution image, a 12x optical zoom, has image stabilisation, weighs a mere 162lbs and was first released in 2015. So considering it's now 2 years old, it's held it's price, and is still on sale.So what's it like to use.I used a trip to Baddesley Clinton, a National Trust house just outside of Solihull to test it out. Slow off the mark but OK for snaps
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

OK little camera although not as good as my previous DMC SZ5. Shutter speed on the slow side after taking shot so action is frequently missed! But OK when I don't want to be carting my DSLRs around with me. My camera phone is actually better quality but does not do Panorama or I wouldn't have bothered with this.

Not that great
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

I had a previous Lumix model which unfortunately got stolen so I replaced it with this one.The picture quality is OK but its very hard to focus with confidence. It seems to struggle to focus, so if you are taking portrait shots then it takes a long time to lock inI am shooting in high light level situations as we use it as a booth camera at our lighting trade shows. It doesn't handle high contrast situations well at allI also don't really like the fact that this also has a two prong euro charger for the battery, so you always need to have a euro to UK adapter at hand (another thing to carry)

Arrived promptly and well packaged. The camera did not come with a charging plug but the one for my other camera fitted. The instructions are not in English but I went on the Panasonic website and download them. I had read reviews on the specification of the camera before buying and was not disappointed. It's very easy to use for a no professional and produces great pictures. I did read the instruction and all the features are easy to use. I downloaded the pictures easily to my ipad using a smart card reader lead I have. A really great product.
