Product seems to do what it says, surprised that the product seemed used and repackaged. Nowhere did I see it says used, 2nd hand but the unit wasn't sealed in plastic, and the box was also resealed indicating it had been opened and maybe used.

Mrs. Pauline DuncanIt doesn't cool the air. We used it for the very hot days we have had in the UK to cool our daughters room. It is basically an expensive fan. You can add what for a humidifying function. It does not cool the air as far as we can see but it does circulate it. I would not spend this amount again and wish we could send it back but we had to add a UK plug to it as it was sent with an American two pin.
