The hose pipe is of very poor quality and can split very easly. Other than that the machine was what you wouild expect.

Using my in a factory - which is probably the best place for it as it's not the quietest AC unit I've ever come across - but the noise is the woosh from the fans, not a droning compressor, which I like. This machine delivers high performance in a compact unit, and it does this by using powerful high speed fans, so it's not the quietest unit on the block. I bought my one to use at work after by boss bought one to cool an uninsulated 6 meter by 10 meter 'steel box' room made from steel plate and girders in which we conduct (sometimes explosive!) experiments. I've included a photo of the rather natty 3D printed adapter duct parts I produced on a 3D printer called a 'Zortrax M200' as the supplied adapter wasn't designed for steel walls! I could sleep with the noise but for home bedroom use we have several of the excellent 'Modern Life 5000 BTU Cooling Portable Air Conditioner Units' here on Amazon (not always in stock) - small, compact and only just over a quarter of the cooling power of this unit, its ideal for bedrooms. Google 'Modern Life 5000 BTU Cooling Portable Air Conditioner Unit' for more data on this much smaller unit. This one is definitely happier downstairs. One way to vent a bedroom AC unit is to sit the unit in a floor to ceiling cupboard and run the hose up to a hole made in the ceiling and plaster the hose in place so it vents in to the attic, extend the hose of raise the unit up if the hose doesn't reach

First class unit. Use industrially and it is standing up to the task. Could be a tad noises for residential use but a really first class unit. Easy to use and understand.
