Does not work as described, emits low air and not cooling

Was used. Dirty yellow marks on it. It was leaking. Do not buy!

Arrived quickly and is nice and light. However the cool blocks that were recommended with it don’t fit so that was a total waste. I have used it with water but cannot notice any cooling benefits. So a bit disappointed!

Not any different to a normal fan, can’t feel any difference when the coolng option is on or the ice. Wouldn’t have bothered buying this unit had I known it was no better and a lot more expensive than a decent fan

Didn't get a chance to use the product because it doesn't work and appear to be a used item based on dirt marks, dust/dirt in between joints. It's not value for money as the purpose it was bought for has not been accomplished. No remote control in the packaging.

No remote and faulty and you have to pay to return.

I already have a small swamp cooler which does an amazing job up close, was hoping for even more from this machine which is about 8 times the size of the small one I have, yet no cool air comes out even when you add the ice packs and the noise level off the machine that turns the wet cloth is beyond background noise. Very underwhelmed with this product and returning it due to a defective machine as I can see a part is not in its proper place

good for cooling one person down as long as u have lots of ice

Non effective did not feel any cooling affect no better than £8 fan! Hooks for icepack cheap and flimsy noisier than advertised

I plugged the fan in without water in it at first, and it worked. I then moved it upstairs, put water in it as instructed, plugged it in and it didn't work. I tried it in various sockets, but it never worked again. I sent it back to the company and had to contact them 3 weeks later to request my money back (although the fan had arrived at their depot 1 day after being sent). They refunded the cost but refused to pay postage, saying that the fan had worked when they received it back!

Cheap Chinese.....Worked perfectly for 30mins and then stopped.My advice would be spend the little extra and get a branded or better quality machine, but that’s just based on my experience. I guess even the well know branded stuff breaks.

This product is awful..please save your money and buy a "Tower" fan intead...my tower fan Is cooler than this product without all the noise. I tried putting alot of ICE still felt no difference. So I turned on my $20 Tower Fan which blew cooler air without any ICE and is not loud, that's when I knew that this product was a failure.

its very small space for ice block to go infan is not so powerfulduring 30 deg it didn't work compared to my neighbours one

Received on time therefore giving 1 star.It's not working as it should. Did not cool as we compared it to our normal fan which was blowing the same temperature air. This cooler is meant to evaporate 'x' amount of water per hour. We had it on for like 5 hours on several days and the water levels hardly moved at it. The water wasn't evaporating!Also, I don't think this item was brand new as it was dusty and the view window (for the water level) was already misty before I put any water into it.Returning to get a refund.

Bought this due to having 3 month old twins in a heatwave. Disappointing. Faulty item. Fan element worked but the cooling part did not. Bit of a faff to get it returned and refunded, at a loss still for the return delivery... but have lost the will to complain about it anymore. Avoid this and spend a bit more on a proper air conditioner.

I get the concept of evaporative cooling, and know it is not the aame as air conditioning. And yes it cools a bit when directly blowing on you and when it is not too humid. However the build quality is poor, eith the plastic housing misaligned. When I switch it off at night there is a flash of light from within the casing. Also the water tank leaks when you move it, and it is not easy to drain when not in use.

When it’s clean and full of ice it runs like a dream.can fault that part.The fact that it’s hard to clean is the only proble for me. It hold water and takes ice in the bottom and so after a while gets a bit dirty in the tray..I had to bust open the access hatch so I can get my hand in and spray it out.Plus it seems to have a cloth that pull the water up so not sure how long that will last before needing changing/cleaning

Very noisy when the oscillate function is in and it has a loud click when the Fan is on, also hard to clean water out if it gets dirty inside, could do with a pull function water tray so u can do this.

Bought to use during the heatwave to Cooke down my daughters room a little.It’s about as cooling as a fan with a wet tea towel in front of it.It’s not an AC unit so it’s obviously not making the air cool but blowing air out from water you fill in at the bottom. We only had one piece of string that allowed you to hang your ice unit into the back of it. But it does come with two.I think I’d rather pay the extra and get a proper AC unit. It’s basically just a fan.
