not many areas on weather updates if you live in a large town OK no good for remote areas my nearest station is 40 miles away.

I live in a flat, so I can't attach a sensor on the outside wall, and that's the only reason I decided to buy this product. It was OK to set up, though the software installation was a bit flaky, and the information presented on the unit is very clear, but it does take too long to transfer updated forecast info to the display unit.I'm not sorry I bought it, but if you are able to site an outside sensor then I would suggest you consider other units.

I wish I'd read about this better and had understood more clearly just what this is. If you want an expensive gadget that tells you the weather from the internet this is for you ..however if you want a weather station that gives you local readings then ny advice ...don't buy this.

You get a 4-day weather forecast for up to 5 places on the display and an automatic weather data update during every internet connection, which seems to be spot on every single time. Looks modern and well worth the money, I would highly recommend.
