I am disappointed in the quality of the pictures even though the tv is said to be 4k and has dolby vision but the output is so terrible such that when watching just an HD video the output looks like you are watching a 1960 movie

I received TV where smart TV isn't work at all. It seems that i connected the item via Wireless then witha broadband cabel. Connection is ok, but Smart tv, Netflix couldn't be connect to the Philips Server. The process to connect the TV is very slow, signal between remote control and TV is slow although. However picture quality is ok for that price, but I bought Smart TV not simple TV... I tryed to use phipips support - they only sent me some common instruction after 36 hours!!! I started to check reviews and got the answer: it's common with Philips TV and recomendation is only one - avoid Philips OS. I started return procedure, thanking Amazon. Hope it's only my experience. I'd better to buy LG ar Samsung and never ever Philips.

Overall, lost a star because of two issues for me.1) After hanging on the wall, there is no access to the various ports, USB,HDMI etc.2) Every time I switch on the TV, it tells me there are no channels registered and to connect an aerial or cable and register some. I don't have a tv licence so do t want any channels.

Screen is far from bright enough. It just looks dull and washed out, which misses the mark for an LED UHDTV... my old Samsung 1080p LCD is about 2-3 times brighter.If you increase the brightness to try and remedy:A) It’s not actually brighter, just more exposedB) Blacks turn grey...

This Tv doesn t have android on so you cannot install app. It has some apps already installed, just like Netflix , YouTube and many more but still. Also it gets laggy if you stream on it from pc, you have to change your picture style to game mode, which also reduces the quality. Overall picture quality very good in standard mode, 4k.
