I'm using it as 2 in 1 screen. Laptop + 2 windows on it next to each other and you have 3 working monitors in practice.

Great if you are a software developer and want some extra screen real estate.
For example, you can watch a tutorial on the left and try things out on the right, without having to squash anything up.

well I know this is no longer available by Amazon and overprice with other sellers

I will hopefully help other buyers thinking of getting a ultrawide tv or monitor
but can only give the facts about this one of course ,
this seems to retail at about £250-£300 so my review is based on that price ,

I did have a lg 3d 27 inch tv/monitor before this as my pc screen , that was big for a pc screen and was in your face so to speak being so close to it , but was a nice monitor and the 3d films did play quite nice on it , but found myself watching less and less of them. and was getting a little annoyed with the 2 black lines top and bottom of normal 2d films, so thought I would give this monitor/tv ago as I wanted also to open 2 web pages at once side by side.

the tv a has HD Freeview tuner and a cable and satellite tuner as well so you are fully covered , also a internet connection so you can get channels like racing uk etc that uses the internet for subscriptions so good news there

set up is easy and finds all HD Freeview and normal Freeview channels quickly ,
now don't forget that I am sitting just 2 feet away from the tv , normal freeview pictures don't look great they are ok , but sitting back a few yards and they are good enough , this is pretty much the same as sitting to close to your 42 lcd tv , picture does not look to great does it ? , on HD channels picture is much better

now the tv and monitor comes with a host of settings that you can tweak , you will take about a hour or so mucking about with these to get a good picture , out the box is not great at all , first thing you will want to do is turn off eco mode , as this keeps dimming and brightening picture and will get on you nerve's , then you will need to set the sharpness as this can make a massive difference , then others as you feel is right for you ,

once you set all this for Freeview you will need to do the same for your pc , otherwise icons wont look sharp , I found a sharpness of 7 was the best for m

Problem with the TV at first, but the replacement was very straight forward and so far no more problems. First time I used the dropping off at your local shop, but they only take small items which is not stated anywhere on this website or the shops.
