A..picks up well B..doesn’t fit under furniture and rad covers like the dc59 C..it has a terrible whine which starts after a little while of running D. It leaves tram lines from the central wheel on the carpets E. Picks up well

Barb67Very expensive but an underwhelming item that isn’t powerful and doesn’t last very long on battery charge. Very disappointed in Dyson as I love their products but this one looks great but doesn’t do the job.
QueenFranOK vac. Shame my attachments from my old Dyson are not compatible with the new one. So factor in additional costs ( if required) before purchase.
Ossie09Wow. And not a good wow. To use the vacuum on the low power, to get more battery time is pretty useless. Rubbish suction on low setting. On High setting, you’ll literally have a few minutes and have to keep charging charging charging!! The low setting has no real suction power so basically it’s the high setting which has good suction. Not fantastic, but good. So for me to have to try even vacuum 1 room properly on high setting, means I must recharge.
SimbaMaxSimbaThis Dyson replaces my 6 year old hand held, but I am disappointed! Power on MAX is not as powerful as my old Dyson. I find emptying the bin is harder than last machine. Had I known I wouldn't have bought it!! Not over keen on the pink colour. After many years of being a Dyson Customer this is my last purchase.
Proud1I have noticed that my hoover doesn't work for 30 mins after a full charge as promised on the pack or website.
BhaswarI will have to watch what I am buying next time. Whilst I think the product is suitable for some people and beautifully designed if you hoover on FULL power you will only get seven minutes use before you need to re charge for four hours. Not good if your are doing the lounge carpet then the stairs. However Argos took it back and I exchanged it for a small ball Animal with a power cord for the same price and found it a lot better.
drisc57Bought last week and battery life is poor (I get better battery life from my old 5 Yr old v6!) Emptying the dust bin part is alot better, suction is good and in use is quiter than the v6 but is let down by its battery so unfortunately returning to store which is disappointing having owned Dyson for 12 years.
Sarah118I bought the Dyson Motorhead to replace my defunct Dyson Fluffy and I'm afraid to say (in my opinion) it didn't perform as well. Yes, it is quieter but I'm not convinced it is more powerful. It doesn't pick up bits of sock fluff (oh men and their cheap black socks!) from my lounge carpet so I have to attack each one individually with no attachment on the tube. Sorry Mr Dyson, I'm not terribly impressed - the best thing about it is the name.
SueZ123I purchased my dyson v7 a couple of months ago and i am disappointed with it not as good as my last one
Jan009I bought this because my previous handheld broke I would say I am a little disappointed in the suction but it does what I need for now. I suspect that the rule change to make machines quieter is responsible for this but the boost button works just fine. It’s very lightweight which is what I wanted. If only I could make my new V7 as powerful as my old DC58.
Bluchi4meAnything slightly big on hard floors it wont pick it up, you have to pick the vac up and put it directly on top of it
Gavin01I decided to try the Dyson V7 probably because of price reduction, battery life not great and suction poor whilst in high suction mode extended run mode. I have been a Dyson user for many years and currently own 2 Dyson upright cleaners, seriously disappointed with V7. Most likely I will return machine within 35 day trial for refund.
Martini71I don't find it as good as the V6, but cleaning the container is much easier.
ThecedarsBattery doesn’t last as long as it says. I’ve timed it and on full power I get 14 minutes. Wish I hadn’t wasted my money.
LEPGood cleaner but very poor battery life. Battery only lasts a short time before dying.
JohnwestsussexCord-free. Hassle-free. Powerful Suction. 75% more brush bar power
