I have rheumatoid arthritis so find some hoovers impossible to push over the floor as they suck too hard whilst picking up little but this one is adjustable, sweeps well & picks up loads. It has a really long hose that makes a big difference. It has a couple of really good attachments to help pick up pet hair, essential in my house as I have two long haired cats. Unbelievable the amount of fur it picks up that you couldn't see. There were a couple of downsides - firstly the lead is very short, probably the shortest I've ever had on a hoover and it's a continental plug though they do provide the adapter so there's no problem there. The 'clip' on the body of the machine that you can hang the hose attachment on to for storage or whilst using , broke off within 5 minutes of my first use. I think this is a design fault as it just wasn't strong enough to hold the hose, so it has to just lie on the floor when not in use, annoying but not the end of the word. Overall the downsides don't overshadow the good & if you have physical disabilities this could be the machine for you.
