Despite reading the information about this product and others in the range, cost informed my decision and whilst there is nothing particularly wrong with it there are issues. Would you believe that NOT ONE bag is included in the pack or the reference number that you need to order the correct item? It means you cannot use the cleaner until you source the bags which is often days later! When I contacted Einhell customer care to mention the lack of 1 bag with the cleaner they have never bothered to reply. Secondly, the flex is ridiculously short and should be much longer. The hose seems poor quality and kinks at the slightest bend. Should have bought British!

The vacuum cleaner is good, suction power is good (1250W motor). It is lightweight, but due to that little unstable. The cable is relatively short, need to use an extension. Also, plastic pipe is very fragile, as it would break easily if push harder during cleaning. Should be metal in the standard. Unfortunately, the wide suction head with a brush is good only for the hard floor, does not work on carpet. Need to buy additional head without the brush. Flexible tube is a bit soilid in a shape, and hence curling up itself, I mean it is not turning itself around the joints, so the pipe need to be rotated from time to time to free it up (if you know what I mean). Also, the connection place of the dust bag is not very easy (elbow-like shape) and the nozzle is not suitable for a bag, leaving an open slit between. Should be a slip in connection way, like in other vacuum cleaner models.Generally machine works good, but I recommend it only as a solution for low budget.

Purchased this to both use as a vacuum cleaner and also to use as an accessory for our mitre saw when carrying out installs on site- it does perform well for the latter but as a vacuum cleaner it has very little suction- the filter should have a paper bag around it as it chokes up very quickly and needs to be cleaned several times a day.

As a PTO for taking dust away from the mitre saw it works well - it's also light and easy to carry up a few flights of stairs- as a vacuum however I'm afraid it doesn't make the grade- very poor suction- despite some spurious claims in other reviews that it was "too" powerful- perhaps they ordered a different machine

All in all we are happy with it- as an accessory for the Mitre saw- but that I'm afraid is it's limit

Build quality looks ok on first look but will be no use if going to be used on carpets as the plastic tubing from the handle to the floor attachment just moves and feels like its going to break, i only purchased it for clean the cars out so won't be using the long pole extensions, the most worrying was it comes with a two pin round euro plug!!! so we had to cut it off and fit a uk plug and it has no earth cable just two core so not sure if this is even legal in the uk as sold as a wet and dry vac and with no earth could kill...

I'm a construction manager running sites. I bought this Hoover as it is presented as robust and industrial.

It simply is not. We have had it two weeks doing very small hovering tasks -nothing heavy stuff all - and it is seriously under performing.

All the parts are very cheap especially the wheels which are super important when moving it around rooms.

Terrible product.

Easy to set up and so light that although I bought it for heavy duty cleaning, I did prefer it to my normal vacuum cleaner, but now I'm less sure - the suck is really powerful, so picking up objects is really only restricted by the hose diameter, which however is no wider than for a normal vacuum cleaner, so is much prone to blocking even with debris that isn't particularly large. Apart from the hose problem, I have had to revise my 5 star rating also because with the second cleaner I bought, the wide head broke so quickly (luckily there seem to be replacements from SparesToGo or I'd have been stuck with no heads at all - the crevice tool didn't appear to be included). I hope the replacement tools are better quality than the originals.

I purchased this shop vac mainly for the power take off in my workshop, I'm very pleased with the power of the vac in regards to taking care of the dust and chips etc, but don't even think about vacuuming any carpet or rugs. The vacuum is that powerful that I find it impossible to vacuum them without lifting the carpets, you can just about pull the extension pole but you won't be able to push. Tha accessories are very flimsy and bend quite easily, I would rate them as useless. Also the hose supplied is an odd size and fits practically nothing.
