After having this for a few years it spits out muck all over my clothes when Ironing. The documentation is silent on this problem. Its absolutely disgusting seeing a nice white shirt get covered with sludge, and its also incredibly wasteful given the shirt then has to go through the wash yet again. Total waste of time and money. The time I waste rewashing shirts ruined by this stupid iron easily outstrips the time I save using a steam generator.

Lovely piece of kit with one significant "but"! The flex from the handset is poorly positioned and inadequately insulated leading to wrist / lower arm getting uncomfortably hot in a short space of time.

Fantastic iron, makes the most leborious job so much easier.

Good automatic settings, sometimes little hot for fabric type but getting used to sorting fabric types prior to ironing to avoid issues. Cord rewind and lock to fix iron to base great features. Great steam generation and spray for stubborn creases.

Good functions and nice colour.

A bit heavy compared to our old Bosch steam generator iron and not as smooth either. The holes in the front portion release water during the first 30 seconds of use - we've used de-ionised water only so far so no limescale or dirt has come out but you would get that if using tap water (but this happened with the Bosch too).

easy ironing with plenty of steam

Don't buy this product!!! Only worked for 26 months !! Not worth it for the price that was paid for it

I love steam generators. Last one was a Bosch but I dropped it. Have to say this one is MUCH better - fab! Bit heavy but to be honest, steam generator irons usually are so that's still 5* for me

Having had numerous Philips generator irons for some years, I was a little apprehensive to try this Tefal model. It's pretty heavy in comparison to my previous irons. It does every so often leave water on clothing but not of the limescale type, so no worries in having to rewash the clothes. It irons very well so I'm happy. Hope it lasts longer than the Philips as I think the warranty is a year less than Philips. Gave 4 stars purely due to it not having the optimal fabric option like Philips & how heavy the base unit is.

Great iron, replaced my previous steam generating iron which was also a Tefal. Slightly bigger in size and heavier than my last steam Generator iron, so I am going to have to invest in a bigger ironing board.
