Great product for a great price and quick delivery but the manual focusing is very hard and not sharp.
AbbeyThe lens is a manual lens, so exposure metering is VERY hard because the lens is so wide, but if you can get your head around that it is a very good lens
Amazon CustomerGreat little lens. Perfect for cropped sensored cameras. Almost a 180 degrees view!!
Nitin LUsing on my Nikon d7100, great lens with endless possibilities. Not the sharpest but what do you expect from a budget fish eye, really enjoy shooting with it though, would definitely recommend
Jack Daniel MasseyQuality glass and performance, but poorly sealed at the front, letting in humidity all too easily! Also not recommendable to be used on a full format camera since the camera will produce smaller images than usual that are somewhat distorded as well, filling only part of the frame (at least this is the case with my Canon Eos 6d mk2). Therefore i only use this lens on my cropped sensor cam, every now and then enjoying the fisheye experience.
jolande kistersCould not get along with this lens. It is manual focus and if you put on f22 you can't see what you are taking as it is too dark. You have to snap away and then check photos on the computer. Saved up and bought the sigma fisheye.
Mrs Helen J DaviesI have been using this for virtual tours only and I would highly recommend this product for the ease of use and value for money.
PaulThis is an amazing lens for the money. I use mine on a Nikon but also on a Sony a7r which makes manual focusing a doddle. Having said that, use this lens at f16 and focus almost at infinity and everything is in focus anyway! Not a lens to be overused but it can produce some super images. Just have to make sure that your feet aren't in the frame sometimes :-)
Frank4Fits my canon 750D great and does the job for a lot cheaper than the other brands
Mrs RDoes everything that you would expect from a fisheye lens; what (pleasantly) surprised me was how good this lens is both optically and in terms of its AE interface with my Nikon D7000. I purchased as I could not justify the expense of the Nikon alternative but I have no complaints.Focusing is manual but, with the incredible depth of field available with any extreme wide angle lens, this is almost irrelevant. For most shots focusing at infinity is all that is required. Slightly slower than the Nikon 10.5mm lens but for my purposes, this isn't critical. I am delighted with this lens which represents excellent value for money.
RiojaRobinExcellent lens, produces top quality images for a fisheye lens coupled to a DX camera.
StevenBStunning lens very sharp
LondonGuyIf you want a lens for panoramic or 360 photography, just buy it. I'm absolutely blown away by the image quality and the stitching results are fantastic. I was hesitant at first but honestly, it's a great lens. Don't even think about buying the canon equivalent.
Mr R.A brilliant lens for my Canon 550D .. A tip to achieve full image focus, set focus length to 1.5 m and app f8 in good light conditions ..
Tony..fotoVery nice
mr kenneth g leechNot bad at all but not quite a canon! But to be fair it's a 1/3 of the price so I would say it's pretty good for the price.
Amazon CustomerVery good lens for a Nikon owner like me, amateur, on a limited budget.Nothing comes near it at the price and the internal chip (only on the Nikon version), makes it easy.
BobGot this to replace my Walimex, as it took a hit to the ground and chipped the front element. Great lens, fully manual, and offers little aberration and softness throughout the range.
Great low price solution for extreme sports enthusiasts, or for photographers who just want a fun lens to use out and about. I've used mine at expos and for filming skaters in the past, and it works great for both.
Joy of it being rectangular fisheye is it offers the huge width you expect, without the "stretching" you'd find in - say a Sigma 10-20mm. It offers a nice curved view of the world - and as I said, I basically bought this twice as my first when bye-bye!

Andy WGreat lens for panoramas. Can't beat the price. I've owned the Canon version and the Nikon version and both have been great. Extremely sharp for the price.
joost vanhoutteThe Samyang 8mm f/3.5 Aspherical IF MC Fisheye is a stunningly high quality, ultra-wide angle lens. It is produced for cameras with the APS-C or smaller sensors and its optical construction is based on 10 elements in 7 groups. Thanks to the use of an Aspherical hybrid lens and the newest generation multilayer anti–reflection coating, the optical performance is maintained to the highest possible level. The aperture consists of six diaphragm blades and can be closed down to f/22 for incredible depth-of field. A built-in lens hood is also fitted to prevent flare. The lens offers a huge 180 degrees field of view. Thanks to the fisheye nature of this lens you can discover a whole new reality. The artistic expression offered by such perspective means your imagination is the only limit. Image Sensor size: APS-C, Focal length: 8mm, Maximum aperture: f/3.5, Filter Diameter: N/A, Angle of view: 180 degrees diagonal, Minimum focus distance: 0.3m, Focus type: Manual, Number of diaphragm blades: 6, Lens construction: 10 elements in 7 groups (1 Aspherical), Dimensions (max): 75x74.8mm
