I'm using the A mount version of this on an A6000 with an adapter.This lens is so much fun. The fisheye is really wide, easily the widest lens I have used. What another reviewer said about your feet creeping into pictures is true, as the angle of view is over 180 degrees.Where this lens is different from others is that it has a polished interior, this gives a unique and sometimes spectacular frame to your images. On APSC cameras like my A6000, this circular frame is cropped out slightly at the top and bottom which I don't find a problem at all.Focus and aperture is fully manual, if you are a beginner don't let that put you off most as most of your shots with this will need a smaller aperture meaning a bigger depth of field and a more forgiving focus range. For ease of use on Sony cameras you can use A mode and the camera will meter your light and control shutter speed and ISO, leaving you to pick your own aperture on the lens. This can be a good way to pick up the basics of the relation between shutter speed and aperture and applies to all manual lenses such as the Lensbabies.The lens feels well made, it's a bit on the heaver side but that is normal for these kinds of lenses. Materials are a mixture of metal and plastics. Focus ring is very smooth and quite light to use.I already owned the diagonal Sony fisheye adapter for the SEL16mm lens which I love, but in my opinion this lens is truly unique, fun to use, and worth the investment.
