As a serious amateur photographer I am aware of the shortcomings of mirror lenses.Only received mine yesterday and my early trials are far beyond my expectations. The quality of the image is excellent and I am delighted.These are not easy to use-but with a good digital camera good results are possible. I am disabled and so far find best hand held---high Iso 1200--this enables a high shutter speed to capture sharp image. Adjust camera menu for low /no noise at high Iso. This is a quality lens make no mistake--I turn the brightness up high on my camera screen to enable easy focus as with mirror lens the focussing is not easy. I am so pleased with the lens quality and look forward to using it. The service excellent-ordered last Wednesday --came from Germany-and delivered in superb packaging yesterday Sunday-how good is that.Took this simple photo just to try the lens at about four metres --hand held.1200 ISO and 1000 sec.Great lens.Have reduced file size of this pic to 700mp.
