Very happy with my purchase. The payment plan was a great option.
ElenaGreat lens
william kellyExceptional lens with a Canon 5Dmk4 really sharp pics
Hiker.alExcellent "L" Series quality. You really do need to try one after using the standard kit lens. You'll be blown away. Amazon offer excellent payment terms too. No interest, same price as if paying in one lump sum. Thank you Amazon.
A. StevensI use this lens a lot, it’s one of my favourites.
David StimpsonDeveloped a fault when just over 1 year old. Sent to Canon for repair, great job done, but cost me another £136, which ironically took it up to the price I would have paid originally to Canon. No guarantee the same fault would not have occurred, but I do worry now about buying from third parties.
Mr. Robin D. LingsI wanted this lens just for landscape photography. I also have a Canon 24-70mm F/4 which is great. It’s just that sometimes I needed a wider view. This lens deliveres and is perfect for any landscape photographer.
Pab272You know how good the lens will be, it's a Canon L series... If this is the cheapest you can find it?...Buy it.
ollyAs expected from a modern L-rated Canon lens, this product is fantastic. There are lots of detailed reviews online and I can't find anything to fault with it - just buy it!
C HarrisFantastic lens. Just be careful when buying it. I was under the impression I was buying it from Canon via Amazon. Turns out I was buying it from someone called pompi (Amazon just fulfilled it (late, as it turned out, but that was a minor inconvenience)). The problem is that the lens supplied was not supposed to be sold in the EU. From an email from Canon:- "Unfortunately, our records indicate that the serial number provided (please check above) is for a product that was not intended for import and sale in the European Economic Area (EEA). Such products are known as "parallel imports" or "grey market" goods and their sale in the EEA has a number of implications including legal implications." So while the lens is fantastic, I can't claim to be a happy customer. The warranty included with the lens is probably as useful as a chocolate ironing board - and there is no point trying to claim the cash-back that Canon is running on this lens at the moment - unless you'd like your very own copy of the email quoted above. Edit: I returned the lens to Amazon/Pompi and got a full refund - and then repurchased from Amazon directly (£3.08 more expensive). The new lens came with a European Warranty and I have reapplied for the £80 cash-back being run by Canon until the end of September 2017 for this (and other) lens. I am now a happy customer again. Edit: Turns out the replacement was also a grey import (intended for sale in the EAC(russia, asia) and not the EEA(europe)). So I am back to square one and am an unhappy customer again.
David S.Very good.
k f mooreExcellent lens had some great results no problem encountered.

Sandor LueffVery good Quality
CraashbI have been using this for the last 6 months mainly for landscape photography and I really can't think of anything bad to say about it. Image quality is flawless and there seems to be no drop off in sharpness at any aperture which really is very beneficial for landscape work. Build quality is also top notch. It doesn't feel particularly heavy compared to some other L lenses but at the same time maintains a completely solid and high quality feel. All in all an utterly dependable, consistent, ultra sharp beast of a lens, highly recommended.
Tim HorsfallBrilliant lens
TomGreat addition to Family. Superb lens fantastic pictures very sharp.
JenningsI have had two copies of this lens now and both have been quite soft at the frame edges and in the corners on a full-frame body, throughout the focal range and even at narrower apertures. I bought this lens based on the numerous glowing reviews, however I just don't see the quality others are apparently seeing. It performs better on a FOVCF body, such as the 50D, but that's not encouraging since the lens was designed specifically for full-frame cameras. Perhaps I have been unlucky and had two bad copies, but my confidence in this lens is such that I shan't be trying a third. One big positive is that it handles chromatic aberration extremely well - in fact, for an ultra-wide, it really is quite impressive!
JakTraxSuperb lens, very happy with the images it produces.
stu wicksGreat value ultra-wide FF L series lens. Ultra sharp (better than the more expensive f2.8 version). Great compact design and very handy IS. Comes with a pouch and lens hood.
