It is compact, in that all components are together as one, which makes mounting easy. Getting it connected is a different story, but eventually it works. However, the biggest shortcomings are easily addressed with proper programming and forethought/imagination.
The colour screen looks pretty, but is otherwise just pretty. It does absolutely nothing special, and could just as easily be monochrome. It would be relatively easy to have the display background customisable, or even change on its own based on time of day and weather conditions.
The weather forecast is rather iffy at best. Not only does it show a sun at midnight, but it will only indicate rain when the Barometer pressure drops below 1000hPa. Above that it can be pouring with rain for days on end, but it will still only indicate clouds, or even partially cloudy. It would be fairly simple to changed the programme so that if the pressure is above that value, but there has been a rain reading, then it most likely IS raining. Uh-duh!!!
And it should also indicate a moon and stars when it night-time, rather than a sun at midnight. If really good then it would even take the moon phases into consideration, which it indicates in any event. So, new moon, only stars, full moon, then obviously there is a moon, unless it is cloudy. Uh-duh!

Easy to set up and accurate

Excellent product. Links to the internet so you can share your data on weather cloud etc.

Poor. Would not connect to internet. Rain gauge works intermittently. Spoke to Bresser they just repeated the box instructions. No help what so ever. As a gift it was to late to return,will buy a better more well known brand now

I’ve owned quite a few weather stations but this is by far the best. I love the backlit display which means I can see the readings from a distance and it’s nice that you can adjust the brightness. Even better is the uplink to Wunderground so I can see not only the current readings form anywhere in the world, but also see daily/weekly/monthly graphs of the key values.

What a terrible device! Yes it connects to all its sensors but just try getting it to connect to your wifi - No chance. I've spent years in IT and not much will stop me but this device good luck. Returned ours, don't waste your time.
