We have only had it a few weeks and it has packed up; changed the batteries to no avail. It is crazy having a sensor that is meant to be outdoors that is not waterproof!!!!

There are things to like about this weather station, but unfortunately there's a fair bit to dislike too.Here are the good points:The temperature and humidity readings are accurate both indoors and outdoors, and the atmospheric pressure reading tallies with the Meteorological Office's sensors for my area. I've tested it next to a T.F.A. Dostman hygrometer, and they do give virtually the same results, although there is always going to be a very minor difference when comparing digital measuring devices. The other good point is that the display is excellent - bright, clear, well laid out, and easy to read at distance. I would say that the 12-24 hour weather prediction function is about 70-75% accurate and has often been more accurate than the Meteorological Office forecast - "No surprise there" I hear you say.Now the bad points:Build quality. I have another T.F.A. Dostman device, and this is built to a lower standard. The grade of plastic used for the body of the device is quite low, the plastic used for the screen is of a grade that is likely to scratch easily, and the menu and function buttons are cheap, wobbly and clicky. The second bad point is that the instruction manual and set up procedure are not the easiest to get to grips with - all the information is there, but not necessarily in the right order. Like all manuals it should be read first before attempting to apply what is written, but the manual does not inform you that the arrow buttons used to start and set certain functions section by section can also move you from the desired section to another before you have completed that task. One reviewer mentions being unable to change the country. Actually it's not the country, but the starting default day of Friday. However, as both France and Friday are abbreviated to Fr and are in exactly the same position within that section, I can see her point, and it is a good illustration of the problems I have highlighted.Basically, I would say that its good points make it worth considering, but only if the price comes

This is the most infuriating product to use. I consider myself fairly technically minded but it has stumped me! The instruction booklet is worse than useless, the unit does not behave as the booklet suggests at any time and we could not change the country from France! This is hugely disappointing as this was a gift for my husbands birthday and all it has done is infuriated him. I am currently packing it up and it is going back! Good luck if you buy this nonsense I shall certainly be steering clear of this manufacturer in future.

This arrived in time for my husbands birthday and was to replace a cheaper version that he had. The two stations running together have differing information and there have been issues setting up the new one. Still trying to get them right. The package was well wrapped and arrived promptly though.

A clear and informative screen gives you all the information you need for the inside as well as the outside. Looks great in our living room.
