bought this for Christmas ----broke after a couple of months.two stars because its nice looking

Don't be put off by some people's bad luck with faults. I bought one 2 years ago for use on a boat and have been absolutely delighted with it, so much so that I have now bought another for use at home. They offer a comprehensive and accurate weather display plus moon phase, sunrise and sunset, degrees C or F etc etc. The display is very clear unlike some others. All in all the perfect weather station for the price. If you want something even more comprehensive do stick to TFA Dostmann products as they are definitely the best. We also have one of their larger units which has worked perfectly for many years.

The guarantee card in the box already had name and address details completed so that made me suspicious. The external transmitter didn't work so I contacted the person whose details were on the card and she said that she had returned the item because the external transmitter was faulty. Hugely disappointed.

I have found this little gadget to be very good fun so far and can't fault it. 2 Weeks in and I have had none of the reported sensor faults as yet! I certainly enjoy looking at Pam's weather predictions in the morning, especially now that the weather is warming up !

I have found all of the data to be fairly accurate so far and the instructions were quite easy to follow despite the sometimes odd translation from German to English.

There are no doubt better ( and more expensive ! ) device's available but if you want a good fun weather station that gives you all the basic info and doesn't take itself too seriously then I would recommend this product.

I bought this with high hopes but it failed to work. The outside transmitter failed after a couple of minutes. Can't fault the seller though. the item arrived very quickly.

well, transmitter packed up after two weeks might be a one off but i did not take the risk and sent it back

Now had several weeks of watching Pam in action,
very impressed, has given accurate info - if somewhat depressing of the cold weather outside and easy to read info of internal details plus time and date
