From the reviews around 1/3 of these turn up dead on arrival, which is what happened with mine. Then you have to go through the hassle of shipping it back, waiting for them to check it, taking another day at home to wait for delivery to get another, all while sweating your nips off.

orestisI ordered this fan as this week was the hottest day of the year and could not wait for it to arrive as it was hard to breathe inside the house. When the fan arrived in the evening, I put it together, plugged it in and..NOTHING! It did not work, there was no power!!! I think anyone can imagine my disappointed and frustration at that point. I now also have to deal with the hassle of returning it so very, very unhappy about the whole thing. I would not buy again, stick to Dyson and John Lewis.
