Maybe it was the voltage but I specially bought kenwood thinking it would be a good make & needed a kettle to use in new york. Was supposed to be dual voltage but not sure it worked as its supposed to since I plugged it in & each time it took 45min to boil 1 tiny kettle full of water.
jlamazonSo, so slow to boil water even for that small quantity...I turned it back
Popstook it to New York no tea/coffee making facilities in hotel rooms there! Quality fine but seemed to take an age to boil! Maybe US adaptors ?
Amazon CustomerThe dock could not separate apart from kettle, it is super inconvenient when I want to pour water in, have to remove the socket away from the wall and bring the whole thing to the tap, also product is very heavy .
Calvin kwokPossible safety issue. When it gets hot with boiled water, touching power switch area can cause a burn on finger. Raising the matter with Kenwood.
Shah NoorNice quality compact kettle. I use travel kettles as I cannot lift full size kettles. This works for me and I would buy it again. I can just get two mugs of tea out of a full kettle.Update - Four months old and it keeps tripping our electric when it turns off. Shame I have to faff about sending it off for repair. Will buy from my local shop from now on, then I can get a replacement with no hassle.

Disappointed how slow it is to come up to boiling.
Mrs R M GreenReally small. Only fills my cups 3/4 of the way. Brew tastes like plastic.
Mel BridgeKettle size and electrical consumption are great.Delivery and packaging superb.Unfortunately.....kettle still makes slight plastic taste in water /teas.:-(I tried lots of boiling and discarding water....but 2 weeks on....plastic taste persists.....I think stainless steel kettle would have been a better choice.
PaulineNice little kettle which is ok for 2 cups of tea. Takes a full 5 mins to boil whjch seems an age but ok once you know. Only 3 stars as it took 2 weeks to arrive. Amazon had it awaiting despatch for about 10 days. Poor service from them. Kettle ok though
