The shape of the fan is handy, it fits perfectly on my desk because it's a nice compact tower. It looks designed perfectly for this use as the control panel on the top are comfortably tilted forward for easy viewing and access when seated, so a winner all around there. However, the first one of these I had delivered made a horrid rattling sound, like motor bearings were failing, straight out of the box but Amazon swapped it out with a replacement next day was brilliant of them (thanks). Unfortunately, the replacement has now developed that same noise after two years - luckily the product is advertised with a 3 year guarantee so I'll report back with how that goes. The faulty noise is most apparently when using the '3' speed, but it's so irritating it makes it unusable for me, sometimes it comes and goes but it's normally pretty consistent, take a look at the video hopefully that is worth a thousand words.
eireI've used a few small desk tower fans before and this one performs really well.It has 3 speeds, oscillating, timer and air cleaner function. I've noticed though while you change the speeds the sound of the fan almost remains the same. As in the loudness of the fan doesn't really go much lower compared to almost every other fan.In terms of noise levels though it isn't to loud and I found I could sleep with it during the heatwave. Its nice and compact a but smaller then other similar priced tower fans. I found the size good for a single or double room. It's great for a room shared between no more then two.I would recommend a bigger fan for anything more or larger rooms.
PhilipI bought this at the height of the great British heatwave of 2018 with high hopes after reading good reviews on here. How disappointed I was. If you're used to using fans, the airflow speed even on the highest setting seems weak. The on-off functioning is odd as you have to go through all the levels to switch it off if you're on the highest setting. The base is really wobbly and the whole thing feels really cheap and plasticity. Not happy with this at all, I could have bought a really powerful fan for this money.
R. C.Not the most powerful and quite noisy but does its job of cooling me down at night, I have got used to the noise now and find it quite therapeutic. I have it sitting on a chest of drawers about 3ft from my bed and I can feel the air flow easily from that distance but hubby hates them so have to make sure it doesn't touch him! Would recommend it if you are tight on space.
Amazon CustomerDue to the northerners in my family doing impressions of melting in the current heatwave decided to buy a couple of fans.Really impressed with these. Create a good airflow and not found the noise too overwhelming. Not loud enough to drown out voices of whinging grumpy children thou?!This fan definitely has fans in our house!

Actually a very nice piece of kit. Does exactly what the product description says it does. It's quiet and even when it was deployed in a hot room eventually won the battle and cooled things down. The sleep function is very good and the muted sound when it is running actually encourages sleep because it is white noise. Very pleased with the product
Delzx7rI buy a lot of rubbish online because I'm the human equivalent of a magpie, especially after the odd wine!I ordered this in the hope it may cool my sleeping quarters as nothing matches the freeze I get from my girlfriend's heart. This gadget is actually impressive. It does kick out cool air and makes a real difference to the room temperature. If you want to cool down a relatively small room then I highly recommend buying one of these

I bought this fan almost five years ago and it's still going strong, I clean it every six months with a can of compressed air. Other than that, I make sure that it sits just over two feet away from me to feel the breeze. I honestly feel that there is no reason to upgrade or replace this item in anyway after half a decade.
Mr. D. S. RamosGlad I bought this fan it's fantastic I love the timmer function and it does not take up to much room on my bed side table it's a bit noisy when your trying to sleep but at the the end of the day is a fan with moving parts it's not going to be whisper quiet.
Jason GazeeAn amazing product. You can hear that it's 'on', but still very quiet. The Night fan part is also excellent. Doesn't keep me awake at all. Oscillation is fantastic. Love the remote. I'd definitely recommend. Came well packaged, and very easy to assemble the base to the fan itself. Very good instructions.
Tilly aka CurtisThis mini-tower tower gives you a great cooling experience in an attractive, compact design. It will fit perfectly on any desk or table. In addition, the fan has added an independent ioniser, which you can use to freshen the air in your room. It also features 3 speeds, oscillation, an 8-hour timer, and breeze/sleep modes.
