I bought this fan to replace a cheap high street one I installed a year ago, I should have stuck to the policy that you get what you pay for. Anyway, I decided to get a good quality fan regardless of cost so I chose the Lucci because of looks and reviews.Taking the Lucci fan out of the box instantly revealed quality, all the items nicely packed. Installation was easy for me but I do have a good knowledge of electrics and diy. For someone with less knowledge then I would recommend using a qualified electrician. It took me about 90 minutes to install at a steady pace. It’s worth noting that the fan is very heavy and you will need a good support on the ceiling, I had a solid concrete ceiling so I used the supplied screws and raw plugs.Once installed it was time to test and I was not disappointed, the remote worked well from sitting in my lounge chair (It’s important to have the infra red receiver on the fan positioned to where you will be most likely to use it, plan this on installation). On 1 speed I can feel more air flowing than on speed 3 of my old fan, on 2 speed it’s perfect, very quiet and the unit remains solid instead of swinging. It has a summer and winter switch on the unit, and the blades have a reverse voice of colour. I fitted an 8 watt LED bulb. I’m so impressed I’m going to fit another one in my bedroom. Highly recommend.

I had to leave a review for this as the only previous review seemed extremely unfair. There are a great many fans like this about, all made in China and sold under different brand names and mostly from one outlet. This one, however, is a bit different. I have installed around half a dozen fans from three different manufacturers and for the cost, this one has the best functionality. Most importantly the remote works via RF not IR so you don't have an IR pickup glued to the outside of the rose when installed. Included is the wall switch plate so one can mount without remote control if you like. The blades are reversible, wood effect or matt silver. Will buy another one of these for the next room for sure.A previous review marked this as a 1star as there was no breeze. Looks nice but that's about it you don't get any cold breeze off it so pretty pointless
