I bought this to replace another Inovalley weather station that had given many years of excellent service. Its screen was very easy to read from some distance away. Also, it had an external temperature sensor that could be hung from a window thereby registering a true outside air temperature (OAT).In comparison the new unit is very difficult to read, even close up, and has no external sensor - the closest I can get to a true OAT is to place it indoors close to an open window. The design of this station has taken a major step backwards.
