I'm using the laptop for university. I'm super happy with it! I recommend it!
Amazon CustomerThe laptop is OK but sometimes the screen enlarges or moves with the cursor. The battery was to operate up to five hours on full charge and I expected it but it actually lasts for about one hour. I won't. rush to buy another ASUS product, in fact buying electrical goods online does not seem such a good idea at all, I always have trouble with online electrical purchases.
DebrikThe good:-Integrated fingerprint reader, which works great-Premium and intuitive design-Easily expandable RAM-M.2 SSD-Good screen for the price bracket (IPS)-Easy to use and effective function keys-Aluminium cover-Good battery life-Backlit keyboard-Very lightweight and portableThe bad:-Keyboard is a little tacky imo and I don't like the colour-Plastic body is a little cheapThe ugly:-The NIC in this laptop is pretty terrible. Took a huge amount of fiddling around with drivers to get it to consistently stay connected to my WiFi. Granted I'm using quite a legacy router. It connects to my newer router just fine. Seems a lot of people have had issues with this network card, though.Things I would have liked to see:-Bluetooth 5, but 4.2 is pretty sufficient for my needs-More importantly, WiFi 6 (ax) would also have been nice, but the WiFi 5 (ac) is still fine, if a little outdated-USB C charging-Ethernet portOverall, I'm pretty happy with this laptop, considering it was reduced to £350 - which I think is very reasonable for what you're getting. It ticks a lot of boxes and gets a lot of things right, despite it's few (mostly minor) shortcomings. As my first ASUS product I'm quite satisfied.

So far Asus seems fine. Can't assess battery life yet. A nice looking m/c and has a lovely screen.Very fast delivery. If it proves reliable it will be very good value.

Absolutely brilliant. A few teething issues as with any new tech item. Easily found solutions though and all okay. Just what I wanted.
SingyBComputer is fine. The charger stopped working after 4 months.
Amazon CustomerI have not had time to fully evaluate it yet.D
D R DSlim, very nicely finished, excellent screen. SSD makes it plenty fast enough for my domestic use. Good connectivity with 2 x USB 3 (3.1 ?) 1xUSB C 1xUSB 2.0 (I think - it isn't colour coded) 1x audio/mic jack, 1 x HDMI and 1 Micro SD card slot.Downside is that it's Windows 10 which I dislike intensely, but can't really score it down on that as there's no real choice on that these days unless you get a chromebook, or are well enough versed to use stuff like Linux. I'm not !**** I paid £399 - I note that the current Amazon price is £480, and that might make me consider other options.

It is a very good value investment and provides great features.
AlmogTrack pad failed. Sent back for repair. Returned in exact same faulty state. Now seeking refund.
CustomerALBought it for 3 months and the sound doesn't work anymore. Very poor product, I am very disappointed..
Nicolae GaneaAs per the title, I cannot believe in 2019, that you can buy a laptop with only 4gb ram. It’s a shame, because the laptop is fantastic aside, fast 240gb ssd, 8th gen i3 (more then capable of handling basic photoshop tasks) and a great battery life to boot, in fact it embarrasses my surface pro 4 in terms of battery life!To solve the ram quandary, I bought some crucial memory, installing it is an easy task as long as you can operate a screwdriver and a little plastic pick.

I chose this laptop as it has an 8th gen i3 which has turbo and benchmarks almost twice as fast as my previous 5th gen i3.The build is excellent. Keys feel nice and can be illuminated. Track pad is good and has fingerprint recognition too.The sound can be quieter than expected. Battery life is very good at 4 hours. The CPU does run quite hot and at 100% CPU can reach 90 deg C! The screen is matt and very clear.I am looking to add another 4Gb RAM as it has a vacant slot.It can also take a 2.5" HDD/SSD with the purchase of a caddy and cable.
FivishNice look and feel- clear screen -light and easy to set up.The keyboard is a bit of a challenge - I can't touch-type and letters are not very visible on the silver keys .
Sarah's MumBest computer money can buy for mid range, superb sound & an excellent picture and long lasting battery, very light and compact
