The problem, and I think it's a major design flaw, is that there is a significant gap between the drum and outer seal in which laundry tabs get stuck and thus don't clean your clothes - they are often still there at the end of the wash, melted a bit (see photo) and even if you use powder you will almost always find a sock or two that wedges itself in this chasm. They are of course still wringing wet as they haven't been spun. Just avoid!
