This is high quality, heAvily built, British engineering which performs very well. It weighs 80% of the weight of our old Miele which finally gave up the ghost recently after 25 years and we were going to get another Miele until we are recommended to British built Ebac. We got the 9kg version which is great, it has hot and cold fill which speeds things up and costs less to run, it needs to be 3/4 loaded to work most efficiently but is a very solid, very well made piece of kit with a SEVEN year parts and labour warranty and we are very impressed with our Ebac.

 Having broken down twice in the four months that I have owned it, this washing machine is perhaps the most unreliable appliance I have ever purchased, despite its premium price tag.The first unit we received failed in hilarious fashion a few days after installation (see video). This machine was replaced by the manufacturer with one that ran only for a little over three months before going completely dead. Multiple visits from engineers have failed to rectify the problem, and we have at present been without a washing machine for almost a fortnight. This is particularly a problem for my family as my wife is a NHS doctor, currently working in an intensive care unit, on the sharp end of the battle against the COVID-19 epidemic.Under the circumstances, you'd have thought that Ebac would be falling over themselves to help us out and make amends, right? Well, you'd be wrong. I was advised that replacement would take a further week. This lead time is clearly incomprehensible in this age of ubiquitous next day or quicker deliveries. In the interim, I was advised to take the clothes to a launderette. It didn't even seem to occur to them that knowingly taking virus-ridden hospital clothing to a public laundry is rather irresponsible. When I pointed this out, it did not lead to them expediting the faulty machine's replacement, so we're currently in a terrible bind.This was a review written more in sorrow than in anger. I'd made this purchase as I think it is good thing to support British industry in an era where white goods manufacture in this country is rare.

Was really sceptical about buying this washer as unknown brand but absolutely delighted with it. So quiet and its whole presence gives off quality build and a sense of reliability. Buy this and you will be pleasantly delighted.

Good machines - quiet, long guarantee. Had mine for over a year and very happy with it.

Love this machine. Washes well and is very quiet. The only negatives are I don't think the buttons give very clear instructions, and it is quite sensitive to overloading.

Great machine plus made in Durham N E of England had ours 6 months my wife loves this machine especially the 40 mins wash plus you can turn finish alarm on or off some models have an app for mobile not this model but the most important thing it washes well spins well very quite machine, the soap and conditioner dispenser can just take out the bowls to wash rather on most machines slide the hole thing out to clean a very thought out machine.
