Stopped working after 5m
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

Was fantastic when I first bought it 01/12/19, I loved it. Now there’s no suction, the wand and rollers block & it overheats & cuts out after 5minutes (No exaggeration). Plus when it cuts out it dumps what is stuck in the wand back on the carpet. As a result I’ve had to purchase another vacuum. I couldn’t afford this replacement bug with a crawling baby, had no choice.I want a refund b

Great vacuum, especially for smaller spaces like my 1-bed flat
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

Had looked at getting the Dyson but was put off by the price. This was on offer and after a couple of months of use definitely the right decision.I didn't realise what a bad job my old vacuum was doing until I used this for the first time. Picked up so much I was a little sheepish about the state of the carpets, but all sorted now. I don't have a pet but I do have long hair that seems to fall out by the handful and this whisked it all away. Also gets right into the corners and the handheld option means I can also get into the crevices on the sofa, behind the furniture etc.The battery is big enough to do my 1-bed flat a couple of times before it needs charging. Also enough space in the bagless collection part that you don't have to empty too often. Easy to go from vacuum to handheld, and attachments easy to use.The motor unit is a little on the heavy side and it does something weird with the suction that means you have to put some welly into it if you're going back and forth at speed. It doesn't cause an issue for me and means you get great suction, but wouldn't recommend it if you've got reduced mobility or range of movement.Otherwise an all-round good buy and would recommend if you're looking for a cordless vacuum.

10 Month Review
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

I purchased this vacuum 10 months ago. Initially I thought it was the best thing since sliced bread! Honestly, I was showing my friends, telling everyone to buy it and just generally singing it’s praises. Now, it’s just ‘meh’. Don’t get me wrong, I love how small it is when it folds away and it’s easy to nip around but it’s just not worth the money. I clean all filters as instructed but it just doesn’t have the suction anymore. We have to vacuum twice a day (we both work full time) just so that the carpets look mildly presentable. It doesn’t suck up any lumps of anything (tiny stones, bits of dirt etc) which all fall back out when you pick it up and it only gets pet hair off of the very top surface of the carpet. Also, one battery does not do the whole house (3 bed) so we have to do downstairs, charge it for hours and then do upstairs. I’m aware that I can buy an extra battery although at £70 each, it just isn’t worth it. Gutted really as I LOVED IT.

Don’t waste your money.
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

Even discounted this product is a bad buy. It gets clogged far too easily and the suction is barely there after one minute of vacuuming. If you just had to hoover one room once a month this might be worth getting if you like to have something that packs away in the corner quite well and want a shark vacuum but I can’t imagine any other circumstances in which it would be worth buying this. Very disappointing I’m going to have to fork out for another vacuum again so soon.

The best cordless I’ve had (with a few buts)
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

But 1: the roller does become wrapped up with hair fairly quickly, you need to go along the length of it with scissors to properly get rid of it all.But 2: the pipe can become clogged with dust quite easily if something like a bottle cap gets stuck in there. So if you don’t mind something that requires a little more maintenance than a standard vacuum I’d recommend this.Pros: good battery life (I can do all the floors and stairs of a 3 bedroom house on 1 charge); lightweight; easy to stow away; powerful suction on carpet, wood and linoleum flooring.

Wish id bought a diferent hoover
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

The first hoover we had to send back after a week or so, just did not work properly with hindsight i wish id asked for a full refund. The second one arrived quickly but i was still very disappointed with the shark cordless, its heavy and clumsy, difficult to carry up stairs ,and still blocks very easily, I find myself having to clean it out all the time, which is very messy, and stil wish I could get my money back. Maybe because of the high price I paid , I assumed id be getting a good hoover, but this is definitely not the case. I would not recommend buying this hoover, I would not do so again.

A brilliant product
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

This vacuum is an amazing piece of kit which I heartily recommend to anyone considering buying it. Easily as efficient as a regular mains driven vacuum without the hassle of trailing cables. It also means no more winding the cables up which is a nuisance to me. (Lazy I know). It glides along on whichever of 2 settings used, gobbling up dirt with one sweep.Stick bends to make cleaning under furniture easy.It requires emptying more than a regular vacuum but this is easily and quickly done with a press of the release catch.Storage is great as the stick folds over to half its height at the touch of a button.I actually enjoy vacuuming now!Husband has even been known to vacuum without asking. A brilliant product.

Wish I’d stuck with a dyson
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

We’ve had a dyson cordless until now and we were going to get another but got swayed by the reviews of the shark which seemed to be slightly better. Really wish we’d stayed with the dyson. The shark is much more like a traditional corded vacuum and to me isn’t like the dyson at all. It is heavy and makes my wrist and arm ache after only 2 rooms which is probably the biggest problem. The stick seems too long also adding to how uncomfortable it is to use. It often locks into the upright position while you’re hoovering which gets annoying. Its also not the best on stairs as the head is bigger than most stairs. It’s also harder to store in comparison - our dyson sat in a holder neatly on the wall automatically charging. This you have to plug into the battery every time and looks much scruffier and takes up more room. Maybe in comparison to a normal corded vacuum it may perform well and seem better but for us after having a dyson it does not compare. Will be going back to a dyson.

So happy with it!
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

It works great! Because of the motorised head it does all the hard work for you. With a traditional vacuum you have to do all the heavy work on the carpets. With this vacuum hoovering is fun! Seriously, when I first used it I was embarrassingly excited. Works great on both carpets and hard floors. The battery lasts enough for me to do the whole house no problem. The only thing I don’t like about it is emptying it. The dust and hairs never just come out, I find I have to reach in to get it out.

Dust container!
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

This hoover performs very well on carpet and tiles. It last very long and 30 minutes is more than enough for daily cleaning. I was and still an impressed by its cleaning. Ability and that it can suction all kinds of dirt up regardless of the size. However it is not great on rugs and pulls them off the floor and sometimes they can get caught in the hoover. It has a very bulky head so also not good for staircase cleaning or getting into smaller spaces.Major downside and the reason why I returned my hoover is because of the dust container. It does not release the dirt hygienically straight into the bin you have to physically put your hand into the container and take the dust and dirt out by hand as it will not release into the bin automatically by pressing the empty button. I read some reviews prior to buying the hoover about this same issue but never realised just how bad the problem would be especially for someone with eczema this is very bad. Therefore I would suggest that this is a good hoover for the price and performs well but i wouldn’t buy it again knowing what I know now.

Great little hoover
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

This hoover is fantastic for maneuverability, it's so easy to do those hard to reach places which I have struggled to do before with a corded vacuum. Its lightweight and glides easy. The battery lasts a good half an hour, long enough to give everywhere a good hoover, and charges pretty fast ( 2.5/3 hours). The only downside I feel is that the suction isn't very powerful. My last two hoovers have been Dyson's which have had strong suction, so I was a little disappointed with the shark's lack of power. A friend of ours has a corded shark which is amazing so was hoping this one would be close in comparison for the price.Although saying this my carpets look clean after use and it is super easy to use, so that's all I can ask for really.I love how easily it folds away for storage, (so compact) and how easy it is to change the heads. The different floor settings are great and if really needed the added power boost button is there but it does drain the battery.

Fantastic hoover with a hell of a lot of suction, far better than my old dyson
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

We bought this because out old Dyson sadly had its day and with an 18 month old little boy we needed something that wouldn't leave anything behind. We received the new hoover quickly and wow we couldn't believe the difference. We hoover our family room several times a day as that's where our little boy eats and plays and he has developed a habit of hiding food in the rug! The first time we used the Shark we were both disgusted and massively impressed! Despite the fact that we had hoovered with the Dyson an hour before the Shark hoover was nearly full with picking up things that apparently the Dyson simply couldn't find! This set me on a mission of going through every room in the house and seeing what it could really do! The house hasn't felt so clean in a long time! the battery life while not great is definitely enough to do our full 2 bedroom house including stairs (I didn't want a corded hoover because we often take the hoover out for a quick run over where the little menace has been playing to make sure hes left no small bits behind!) despite the lack of mains power the hoover has plenty of suck and will last more than long enough. It can be a little heavy and cumbersome for stairs but with the pet tool becomes much easier and getting in every nook and cranny is relatively easy. Charging is simple and because its designed not to allow overcharging leaving it plugged in to be ready at a moments notice we never get caught out. All in all virtually no downsides with an impressive power, looks quite nice and very easy to store! Would definitely recommend!

Lightweight and value for money
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

I LOVE this vacuum. This is the first cordless vacuum that I have purchased and I cant remember life with my corded vacuum.I have arthritis in my wrists and knees so having to carry heavy vacuums up stairs and around rooms was a nightmare. I did a bit of research on cordless vacuums and Shark came out best. The product is light and soooooo easy to use. It moves around the floor easily and has made my life so much better.I would defo recommend this vacuum to anyone with joint issues. It came just after New Year, so had to tackle the aftermath of the Christmas decorations. It took this in its stride and the floor was soon back to perfectly clean.

Great cordless but certainly not lightweight
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

The vacuum is pretty good for a cordless, I have all wooden floors and it lifts all the dust and fur balls really well. I have cats and it catches most of the litter the first time over, without spiting them across the room. The elbow function is great for getting under the sofa and beds. Battery lasts long enough to do the whole flat (3 bedrooms) and a couple of spot vacuums. Best thing for the stairs is to remove the extension and use the head only. It does need emptied every whole house use but its not a massive inconvenience. I read the mix reviews about the weight of this and even saw some people recommend it for older people. I am mid 30s and fit and my arm can cope with doing a whole house but my mum would never manage without doing her shoulder in. I would NOT recommend it for older people for this reason.

Changed my life
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

This shark has changed my life! Before we had an inherited bulky old Dyson which I refused to use, or an inherited Henry Hoover which I’m not keen on as “he” kept getting stuck round corners or ended up on “his” back. This shark was a game changer! I’ve found myself hoovering in the dark just to use the lights on the front and then switching the light on to see how it’d performed. The battery lasts longer than I expected; I think you could get a full house done in one charge if it’s a once over, or I normally do one floor and then put it on charge. It has a push feature so it feels like it’s doing the hard work and you aren’t really pushing it around too. All in all, worth every penny!

Slightly disappointed
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

I bought this after reading the rave reviews as I wanted a lightweight, cordless vacuum that could nevertheless cope with a household with pets. I will admit that it is pretty good and sucks up a lot of dust and muck, but the dust container is very small and needs really frequent emptying (and you have to take the main head off the rest to access the dust cup - and it's tricky to get it apart). My main gripe is the filters, which they claim only need washing once a month... Really? I used the machine for a few days (2 battery charges) and was wondering why the suction seemed to be much less. I checked the filters and they were absolutely clogged and filthy, no way I could simply shake out the dust. It all worked fine again once I had washed and dried the filters and replaced them, so I have bought spare filters so that I can wash and replace them frequently. Actually, I prefer to wash them rather than try to shake out the dust, which goes everywhere. In summary, it is quite a good cleaner, providing you buy a spare battery and spare filters, and don't mind emptying it frequently. I don't think I would buy it again.

Good but not on older carpets

Good hover but not good on slightly older carpets. Pulls threads up easy and spins them onto its roller then stops. Got a bit fed up with unblocking the roller. My carpets are about 6 years old. They need replacing now.

Really great
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

This is the best hoover ever! It was easy to put together, good battery life, and the suction is amazing. It has a setting for both carpet and hard floor and comes with a good range of accesories. The bendy bit in the middle makes doing under the sofa and tables so much easier. It folds in half to store, so it's nice and compact. Only downside is the weight, not ideal for those who can't lift much.
