I researched online vacuum-cleaners to replace our efficient German-made AEG ULTRAONE vacuum cleaner that packed up (i.e. stopped working) after SIX YEARS OF EXCELLENT USE & of not-always been handled carefully by my family!I decided to settle on the ELECTROLUX EU093DB Bagged Vacuum-Cleaner as I found that AEG & ELECTROLUX Vacuum-Cleaners are made in the same factory.[By the way, I prefer bagged vacuum cleaners with filters, as this reduces the instances of dust getting out when you’re changing the bag in the vacuum cleaner].MY LIKES1) It is very Energy-Efficient at A+++2) IT IS SUPER QUIET on the First Two Settings. It has 5 Settings and I tend to use it on the Second Setting. It goes from. LOWEST SETTING on the Left to the HIGHEST SETTING on the Right. You just need to turn the knob at the base of the vacuum cleaner clockwise from left to right3) It has a powerful suction ability (the effectiveness of the SUCTION could be reduced by partially or fully opening a resealable slot at the top of the Hose)4) It has ten metres of trailing wire with a Wire Tidy built into the vacuum-cleaner unit. As the wire is long, it means you don’t need to unplug the vacuum cleaner very often to move from one place to the other while vacuuming.5) It has a 5 Litre Bag and a Dust-Filter Bag, which means you do NOT NEED to change the vacuum cleaner bag so often and the dust you’re vacuuming up also gets sealed in the bag, with the dust filter soaking up any dust not caught up in the Vacuum-Cleaner Bag.6) It is fairly light at 5.7kg compared to other vacuum cleaners my family & I have used in the past.7) Although it comes fitted with an EU (European Union) 2 PIN Plug, I like that it comes with a EU 2 PIN to UK 3 PIN Adapter plug (Black in colour).IMPORTANT - WHAT you need to do is a) undo the silver-coloured screw underneath the adapter [using a Philips/cross-point screwdriver], b) gently prise/pull open the top half of the BLACK adapter and the EU 2 PIN PLUG should slide in, as the BLACK adapter is designed for the EU PIN PLUG IN SUCH
