Okay so I really excited about going this as I travel a lot but, I was very disappointed it should be easy to use that if it doesn’t clog up and the amount you get is very small. The positive is the favour is brilliant.
AdrianI bought this for coffee in my campervan. Overall, it's been fiddly and disappointing. Very small amounts of coffee (way less than my nespresso machine) after a lot of fiddling and pumping. I've replaced it with a moka pot as it just wasn't worth the hassle.
D WLeaks after about about 4 weeks of use, I bought this about 18 months ago and used solely for holiday, so used twice daily for about 4 weeks sporadically , last weeks use it leaks water from the plunger and I suspect air too as pressure isn't as high and consequently the coffee produced us poorer. It was initially ok, but obviously not built to last, can't recommend and won't be buying another one.
reviewer_anon45Works well, but disappointed with plastic construction. At this price I hoped for something more robust.
Amazon Customerused it first time today and it doesn't work at all. very poor quality
Amazon CustomerThe item has stopped working after 3 months..
Amazon CustomerDisappointed with this espresso press was meant to be an upgrade from my cook works one and is no better at all, it will only compress a set amount of water no matter how much hot water you put in also retains a lot of water at the pod end which makes for a messy clean up not great at all unfortunately
Oliver G.Faulty product, lasted two weeks
HThis was a gift for my daughter and was not used until she had returned home to the Middle East. Unfortunately it did not work and unable to return it. Very disappointed as it looked brilliant.
Jennifer RilonHad to use it three times to get even a small sized coffee from it and even when pre heated came out tepid....Certainly not worth anywhere near the money and I cannot believe the gall in charging £20 extra for a larger simple plastic water tank. Only used it a few times and then put it in the back of the cupboard so giving it 3 stars for durability.
MiseryVery bad.I have been burned because of water leakage, and need the power to take out the coffee.
Amazon CustomerSo very disappointed !! I’ve been looking at these for years and finally took the plunge and I’m so fed up that it’s basically tat! It makes a tiny tiny portion, when you’re pumping the coffee it keeps locking itself! Complete waste of money.QVC fodder!Gutted!!

Gutted!!
Sadly broken! The pressure can no longer be created to dispense the coffeeWould appreciate a replacement?
Joss MurrayBroke within 3 months. Was good whilst it lasted.
emma wilkinsonI left it too late, but I wish that I had returned this. I do not like it at all. Tiny amounts of grainy, lukewarm coffee. And I think it would help to be quite strong to be able to push in the pump. I’m very disappointed. It looks good and is a good idea but in my opinion it is awful.
HNBThis makes the Nespresso pods just like the machine at home but is not near perfect. The bottom cup is about two thirds of a normal espresso, so you have to refill it to get a normal sized espresso. It also retains a large amount of the coffee (that you cannot pump out), which requires careful clean up to prevent very hot coffee from going everywhere. Not worth it for indoor usage I would say.
Stefan CollierI was really looking forward to getting this for Christmas as I follow the coffee at work so intently, and this I thought would be a suitable alternative. For £49.99, your better off spending an extra tenner on buying a Nespresso machine. This thing makes a mess, is clunky, easy to cross thread, the coffee is full of coffee grains, and tastes quiet poor. Not something a high branded product ought to put their name on.
Jon BiddleWebsite won't allow me give zero stars which Is unfortunately what I intended. I bought 2, one as a gift. When mine made weak coffee and pulverised the capsules I thought I better test the one intended as a gift but it did the same. I recently have spoken to someone who bought a competitors brand and this works fine.
