I dropped my old pro 7 and got this one to replace it great iron best price around

this was a warehouse product. after preparing the iron for use (put a little water in, set the heat setting), I plugged in and turned on the switch ON THE WALL - hadn't yet turned the iron on.The iron gave a huge bang with big spark and all my fuses went off in the lower level system. Clearly a damaged or faulty item, wonder why it was returned by a previous user and became a warehouse offer????? Will this be sent out again in this damaged way? Beware.

I decided to splash out on a new iron for my wife as the old one was leaking and noisy. She has been using it weekly now for 6 weeks and swears it is the best iron she has had. It is light and irons the clothing and bedding in 1/2 the time the old one used to do, so I'm on her good books. Thankyou

Have never used an iron in this price bracket before. Tend to go for ones around the £30-£40 mark. But it is true what they say - you get what you pay for. I am not a great lover of ironing, but this goes over the fabrics really smoothly and the curved soleplate means you don't keep on catching it on buttons and pockets. Also, all irons say non- drip, but this one really is non-drip. Cord wraps neatly around the base when finished, and there is a handy clip to keep the cord in one place. Would definitely recommend.
