Gained a ‘matching’ kettle and toaster. Unfortunately they don’t match. Toaster is white and a beige colour, the kettle is white and clear/light grey. Completely different
SelclareBought the black kettle to match our black toaster. Sadly the black wasn't black .. returned :(
Antony CarterI had a De’Longhi metal kettle for 10 years & it was brilliant, only had this one a couple of weeks and the plastic outer has scratched already. Very disappointed with the quality for the price.
Eco44TOTAL RUBBISH!This is the second one that we have had, both failed after only a few months. An intermittent fault, where the kettle will not boil for days, then boils once and stops again for days.
CenturionsIt doesn’t have any special features to warrant the £75 price at all. I haven’t even had it a month and it was full of limescale! This is bizarre as I only use filtered water in it. It takes ages to boil. Far too expensive for what it is and I’m hugely disappointed. I gave it two stars instead of one because it’s pretty.Quick update: I’ve changed the rating to one star as this kettle needs limescale treatment every 2 weeks.
Annie CGood looking kettle which compliments our kitchen. Efficient. Replaces a less decorative De'Longhi kettle. Not sure how the complicated design of the kettle body will lend itself to easy cleaning and maintenance.
Mr P BrownI bought the black one of these from John Lewis, it feels sturdy although plastic and looks fantastic. Why the one star? It started leaking on the day we brought it home. We don't overfill it, we don't try and fill it using the spout, but if you leave any water in it, it find its way out and onto the stand. This might be a one off problem, so I'll get a replacement, but there are other de lonhgi reviews which refer to leakage, so it may also be indicative of a bigger problem.
