Annoying
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

The kettle looks great and works perfectly. The one issue, and it is an issue is trying to line it up on the base unit, there’s a definite knack to it which I just don’t have.

Smaller capacity
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

The verdict is still out on this kettle, the colour is great and matches the rest of our kitchen. It is easy to use but fitting the kettle into the base can be awkward. It is noisy and the capacity is less than our previous kettles.

Do not buy this kettle
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

I bought this kettle with the matching four slice toaster six weeks ago, I had the toaster replaced as it wouldn’t eject, and the second one was the same. Now the kettle is rusting around the lid so they are both going back for a refund. The build quality is sub-standard on both items, Murphy Richards need to get their act together.

Poor quality: 1st leaked and then replacement leaked!!!
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

This was a terrible kettle!!!! The first one leaked straight away, a replacement was sorted and this leaked after a week! What a hassle sorting out the return and having a non functioning kettle!!!! Really annoyed at the poor quality, inconvenience and now lack of tea in this miserable weather ????.

After owning for 4 months this kettle has started to corrode around the plastic lid, despite the kettle being filled from the spout. The kettle is also very noisy.

So noisy!
Reviewed on Argos.co.uk

This kettle is so noisy when it’s boiling. We have an open plan kitchen/living room and when we are boiling the kettle have to pause the TV as can’t hear anything. Wouldn’t recommend due to noise.

Shiny and noisy
Reviewed on Argos.co.uk

Looked lovely online but in the flesh the white casing is very shiny making it look rather cheap. It boils fairly quickly which is great but the noise is like an aeroplane taking off! I wouldn’t buy it again.

Not easy to replace on the base
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

This is my second Morphy Richard's Kettle of this design. My most recent purchase being an updated model. I am a bit disappointed as the base is just too small and its very difficult to replace the kettle on the base/stand. I read a lot of reviews before buying and no-one mentioned this at all. No-one in house likes it all because of this. :-(

Poor design of handle
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

Previous model of this kettle was better. The handle on this kettle gets covered in steam every time you boil it. Can't see it lasting long.

Not the best puchase

This kettle matches my morphy richards toaster and bread basket but that's it in terms of benefits. It is the loudest kettle I have ever had with a small capacity, won't recommend!

Don't buy this kettle if you want it to last
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

If you think Morphy Richards sells quality products, think again! I bought an earlier Morphy Richards Pyramid Kettle (model 102032) in May 2017, with a matching 4 slot toaster. By February 2018, the toaster failed and had to be returned under the guarantee. Now, after 18 months, the kettle has started leaking from the plastic level indicator. The kettle is unusable. Because I did not register the purchase on the Morphy Richards website, the company refuses to honour the promised two-year guarantee - part of the reason I bought the product in the first place. Don't repeat my expensive disaster.

Fine and fit for purpose
Reviewed on Argos.co.uk

Fast to boil and easy to use. Sometimes a bit of a fiddle to get it set on the base and the light only works intermittently which leaves me slightly doubtful about long term reliability. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Decent, if not especially innovative kettle. 3.5 stars rounded down. Boils quickly but nothing fancy.
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

This is a standard, hidden element style bell shaped kettle.Like most kettles of this design, it roars a fair bit before boiling. It does boil quicker than a similar but cheaper one I have. And although it boils furiously before switching off, it does stop earlier than my other one. Still, I wish it would stop IMMEDIATELY on boiling; I have a habit of loitering by the kettle so I can switch it off BEFORE plumes of steam go up the wall!1L of cold water boils in 2'15" (2 mins 15 seconds) and the kettle switches off 15 seconds after that.My other kettle takes more like 3'10" and boils furiously for 20 seconds before stopping. The indicator light is at the back in a recess above the switch. I'd prefer it on the side which is more visible from a distance. And the fill indicator window at the back isn't very useful as the level isn't especially visible at the best of times. "Easyview" it ain't.Oh, and the cable storage under the base is NOT as convenient as suggested; you can adjust it to be either 14 or 26 inches long. This alone shows that the design has not be reconsidered at all. -More cable recesses around the base would allow more options. The handle allows for a good grip and the lid handle has a nice rubbery finish around its inside perimeter. But you'll mostly be filling down the spout which is nice and wide. It's also a good pourer. My other kettle suffered a bit of bubbling of the paint around the lid. The coating on this one does look more solid, with a metallic finish. As such, I'd expect this to stay new-looking and last well, although I can't immediately see what warranty Morphy Richards are offering.Right now this seems to be top of their range. I can't see why -no Bluetooth, no glowing water, it plays no tunes. It's a very basic design.Whether it's for you depends mostly on the styling ..and if you don't mind paying the extra for it (at current pricing).
