I purchased this model I have owned dishwashers for over 35 years. Deciding this time to go for a cheaper model much to my chagrin. The wands that spin out the water require constant cleaning becoming blocked very quickly. Invariably cooking utensils etc come out as bad as they go in. Glasses if placed on the top shelf retain a film of gunk and dollops of whatever has been sprayed off of something else. Pyrex well that’s a waste of time. I actually spend more time re washing up items that have been through the programmes. Scrambled egg can go through 3 cycles and still dishes and utensils require hand cleaning. My time is devoted to swearing about this product and lamenting the fact that I didn’t pay more money on something that works as a dishwasher.
GREKSUI previously had a Bosch which died just before its 3rd birthday so I decided to go for a budget model. It was a choice of this Beko orIndesit for the same price. I chose this as I went to a store to see it - which I couldn't do with the Indesit as its on line only and not stocked in either John Lewis or Curry's. It was easy to connect and has been running for a week now. Easy to choose a program but I have only used two as yet. I won't bother with the Eco as it takes around a week to run. Nor have I used the auto as unless you are an idiot you can determine your own program I would think! The Intensive 70oC takes 2hrs and the Quick&Clean 70oC takes one hour. Both have resulted in lovely clean items. There is a Mini 35oC program which takes 30mins if you are in a rush and the items are pre-rinsed and there is a prewash but I use a tap in the sink for that! The racking inside and the cutlery tray is really excellent and far better than the Bosch. Some spikes are adjustable and will fold down completely. You can also fit a full side dinner plate alongside a large desert plate. It seems huge compared to the Bosch and almost Tardif like as I still haven't filled it in the first week of daily washes.Early days but excellent results and dries them well so no condensation. Only minor moan is the salt light is on despite filling it up. Having said that there is some way of setting this but it is a faff so that's is for another day. Also even though it has s digital display it does not tell you how many minutes are left to go.Overall very impressed and excellent value for money. If its still going well in 6 months it would get 5/5!
