I replaced my 20-year- old top loader, and separate tumble drier, of a similar age, with a Bosch washer and this Series 6 Bosch, 8kg drier. We are retired, but apart from our own king-size bedlinen, we also often have family staying with double and single bedlinen to wash and dry.No problem with the old drier!!However, this drier does not have a reverse cycle, and I find that a large sheet just quickly rolls into a cylinder - and when the cycle finishes, only the outer part of the "sausage" is dry and the inner part is still wet! if you have any other smaller items in the drier they are rolled into the middle of the "sausage" and stay wet! Very frustrated at the waste of time and electricity - I find myself putting the oven timer on, and every ten minutes, running through to the laundry, to open the drier door, and take out the sheet, and give it a shake and put it back!! Time consuming and very annoying! Have decided to go back 40 years, to when we were first married, and if I could not get sheets out in the garden I dried them on an airer, in front of the fire, which I am doing again!! We have asked advice from Bosch and it was suggested we buy a net bag to fold and place the sheet in, and tie it up, before putting in the drier - does not work as the sensor says its dry but the inside of the inevitable "sausage" is still very wet!!
Kindle CustomerBasically these need an ambient temperature of over 15 degrees ( doesn't say that in the manual) .As the engineer told me , it may get to 61 degrees at the actual heat pump , but in cold weather , you will struggle to feel the heat in the actual drum. We have had towels that have been in their for 6 hours that were still damp to the touch. no worries if you have the dryer indoors or if the weather isn't cold outside... but just beware..
JimboBeen a Zanusssi kitchen since forever. No more since we got the Bosch. Love it
George SerlsWorst tumble dryer we've ever owned. Simply doesn't dry clothes. Even the "cupboard dry" setting leaves clothes wet. Bosch Engineer assures us there is no fault and Bosch's advice was to claim under consumer law against the retailer. The closest thing we got to an explanation was being told about the "very energy efficient heat pump technology" as the cause for clothes remaining wet, much like a freezer that doesn't get cold enough to freeze anything but it's okay because it's energy efficient. Avoid this dryer and, based on our experience, avoid Bosch.
PG81Brilliant tumble dryer very easy to use, quiet in operation and inexpensive to use. Well worth considering if you are after a tumble dryer [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
LeeAFantastic product, both quiet and very efficient. We can highly recommend this product.
PikeI absolutely love my new dryer, I've put off getting one for a long time but they have changed so much now. My clothes don't take long to dry and they smell just as good as they did coming out of my washing machine. I love all the different drying options and I think the light is fantastic. It's so easy to clean out the lint and the water, just pull out the drawer and empty, I also have mine piped up for drainage too. It's a fantastic large family size and easily fits a full load in and it's very energy efficient. Love it
Kezzagreen81Delighted with my new Bosch dryer. My old Bosch gave out last winter and I’ve gone through spring and summer without one, and pegged out whenever I could. My towels were never super soft without the dryer, but now all that’s changed!!!! Very easy to use, don’t have to have an outside outlet, no large white hose hanging through the window. I just empty the water tank after each dry, very simple and easy to use. My first attempt was disappointing, 2hours 10 mins, and they came out a little damp! Second attempt ‘towels’, everything perfectly dry without being over dry, and 1hour 20mins. Like the quick 40min dry too for light delicates. The light inside the drum is a useful touch, I can see if I’ve left anything behind. All in all 5* although I’ve only had it a short while.

Bernie KellBut of a hairy start, error code came up. I rang Bosch who arranged for an engineer to call, thankfully after letting the machine settle it is now working fine and was able to cancel engineer.. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
DideeMy wife and I are very pleased with the dryer and dries everything in 67mins which is on par with our old c rated dryer. Nice large drum and the light is very handy too. Would recommend to anyone.
