This item is really not worth it and the motor broke down within a month of use
AlhasExcellent juicer, but it’s limited to just oranges. Other fruits such as lemon, apple or pairs are not suitable for this kit. Overall it’s easy to use and clean.
Shakthis item stopped working after 30 days and the problem I can't send it back
ETC CollegeI was disappointed when this arrived. It's massive and VERY heavy. I expected the juice reservoir to be bigger given the size of the machine, but it appears to be designed to dispense the juice straight into a glass. It works very well, but the biggest disappointment for me was that I didn't expect it to have to be fully open all the time. Naive of me I suppose, but I thought that the handle would fold down when not in use, but it doesn't. This causes 2 problems - 1. it's too tall to fit in any of my cupbioards, and only fits on my worktop by lowering the handle a bit to get it under the top cupboard, and 2. It has to remain open, with no protective lid to keep out dust. This is probably fine if you use it every day, but I don't, so have had to resort to a pklastic bag over the top - not a smart look. I should have sent it back really.
P. ScottThis is the first Sage/Breville product that I've bought that I am not really impressed with, and I’ve bought quite a few!I loved the solid, die-cast appearance of the unit, and expected it to work like all other S/B products, but it does dissapointPros:1. Very solidly made2. Looks great on your counter3. Motor doesn't struggle and takes the load easily4. Lever makes it easy to hold down your oranges while you squeeze them, makes juicing way easier5. Reamer is solid and tackles limes to grapefruit, in the same reamer6. Thin, rotating bar to keep juice filter clear of pulpCons:1. Unit sometimes shuts off aft4er 4 oranges, though it seems to take the load, I don't know why it shuts off2. Spout design is defective, drips on side of spout and makes the counter sticky with juice, my cheap 25 quid kenwood has a way better spout design. The problem is the movable chute has a shallow curve and if the reservoir is full of juice and you open it, it spills over the chute edges, a deeper chute could solve this leakage3. The cup on the handle was supposed to be magnetically attached to the handle, and as my experience with Breville and magnets, so far, has been excellent, I expected it to work, like,a Breville should. But the cup doesn't attach magnetically, or doesnt appear to, you have to manoeuvre the cup back in and it keeps falling out. There's no magic magnetic click on, like I expected with a unit of this pedigreeThere are also disposable plastic C rings on the cup , of which they give you a few more... not really Breville engineering, IMO
Kindle CustomerI concur other comments :1- Only one filter supplied in contrary of the Product's description ("Stainless steel filter provided, depending if you like a super smooth juice or one with a bit of texture")2. There was no invoice, receipt or other document provided to substantiate the 24-moths warranty on the product.3- The dome on the handle is a badly functioning to remove and refitWill report the progress as I have received it only today
Faycal75This is a nice citrus press if needs to make a large batch of fruit juice. Just not suitable for me to juice a lemon or a lime a day (I peel orange and grapefruit in blender for smoothie). Here are the Pros and Cons:Pros: Solid metal. The reamer is in stainless steel (not to confuse with the cheaper model with plastic reamer). Powerful and juice fast. Nice look at shinny stainless steel.Cons: Time consuming to clean up after small jobs. Bulky and take up space on the work surface.Suggestion for improvement will be to reduce the overall size. A ceramic reamer would be great. A bit fussy with the fruit juice in contact with metal. Plastic reamer is a big NO.
Maeve1. Email issued on 18 January stated delivery would be on 21 January. In fact delivery was the next day, 19 January. Only by chance there was someone at home to accept the parcel.2. The manufacturer's box showed signs of tampering - the polystyrene inside was damaged, consistent with removing the contents from the box; perhaps I was sold a returned item?3. Contrarry to the product's description ("Stainless steel filter provided, depending if you like a super smooth juice or one with a bit of texture") there is only one filter supplied which is for pulped juice.4. There was no invoice, receipt or other document provided to substantiate the 24-moths warranty on the product.
